well, I hope you went to the hall tonight. I guess it got to the end of p so far. Tomorrow is a pretty good looking day, too. may not move much but something should go down.

you never know when pma is going to enforce - they have been lax on it but the rule is you must work it once every 6 months.

personally i think you should lose it - not fair to the people that take priority in workn theirs. Angel

again, this is the last of the big push prior to the Chinese New Year effects. Expect the shipment to fall off in a big way this week.

Did you get a letter from PMA?

There are over 1000 jobs tonight and close to 1100 on the early for the morning. That will have cleared the ENTIRE alphabet in 2 days. Call in sick or something.

I'm with Mrs. Smith. Boo-effing-hoo. I've worked like 8-9 times since June 2009. I started a full-time job in December and I've gotten out 3 times since then. It can be done if you want it bad enough. If you don't make working on the waterfront (just) once every six months a priority, then why should PMA/Local 13 make you a priority? Done with you, next in line.

For those who don't eat breath and sleep longshoring anymore because like most everyone else you had to get a 9-5er, or live to far to not have the ability to waste 3 or 4 hours of your day to come down. I would call the PMA and find out if you are still active. I know a guy who went over a year and showed up and got a job. To everyone else who feels there gods gift to longshoring due to being a Charter Member of the 7am and 5 pm Eubank Social hour...get a life. Yer not that special.

Geez Moto! Whatsa matter? U forget where the hall is or what? We don't all eat, breathe, and sleep longshoring, but we do pay a little attention and make it somewhat of a priority in the midst of everything else we gotta deal with in our lives. Those of us that are here and know the answer to that question have made an effort, and that was all that was asked of those who haven't and are asking the question. That's the difference. If they had, they wouldn't be asking that question, they would already know the answer. BTW - The one year club is now attending regularly at the casual hall if u wanna join them and haven't already.

As for your signature line - Welcome to the waterfront! Take it or leave it! (and yes, I AM special... I'm BillDOH! Just ask anyone else here! They know I'm special!! LOL!!)

We must beware of trying to build a society in which nobody counts for anything except a politician or an official, a society where enterprise gains no reward and thrift no privileges - Winston Churchill
